Yoga Photography Art Images Wild
The Robert Sturman workshop was life changing. Not because I learned a bunch of new tricks but because I realized that what we are already doing is it. It's so simple this thing called art and Robert puts it into such an easy perspective. Our mission statement says it all if words are fit paradigms to compare. Actually, Iyengar really says it appropriately, the sacred bliss in the moment (Samahdi) "Words can not express this state and the tongue fails to utter them...".
Art is one of the many true expressions of our hearts and souls. Yoga is art and it has chiseled it's way through me in ways I never thought imaginable. Namste', Marie
Getting low, then getting high Sturman style. I've signed up for a Robert Sturman photography workshop down in LA. His first tip was to get low, incorporate the sky and ad dimension to your yogi. I was missing my yogi model but substituted a flock a Snowy Plovers as my subject. What a difference the sky makes.
His other tip so far and I'm picking this up from his facebook page is that camera does not matter, it's all about you. So, I pulled out my 4G Iphone and tested this truth... I think he's right. I can't wait till our next shoot. Cynthia, Brett and Hillary are on deck.
Hillary shooting Nicole.
Gueadalupe Dunes proved to be a location unsurpassed by most. I have to say that each shot, each location, each yogi just keeps getting better and better. Not only are we creating beautiful, incredible, unmatchable images we are having fun all the while.
We set the tone to be low stress, easy, fun and magical. I would say we are all Indie. No funding or fancy anything. Our photos reflect the juice that ease and grace deliver when we open ourselves up to unlimited potential and all possibilities. Our proof is in the, well, proof.
At the moment we are working toward a specific project and creating images that will compile a yoga calendar, actually a couple of types of yoga calendars. We are available for hire as well for any type of project. Please go to the contact page, send us an email and we will be happy to discuss your ideas.
Stay focused on our site as we will be delivering so much more... Until then. Ooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
